At this time, the Iladurarrak awakening efforts are centered within the US, with visits back to Europe for educational opportunities and ceremony. We can provide an experienced speaker and experiential educator for conferences, workshops, plenaries, university and school classes and groups, environmental groups, and other gatherings. She was chosen in the traditional way, and continues to reawaken language, songs, symbols, and culture for sharing with people of European heritage. She is co-founder of the Four Directions Solidarity Network - an indigenous solidarity movement of native and non-native people. She has also earned membership into the Stronghearts Civil Rights Movement, a traditional sovereignty movement located within the Oglala Lakota community in Pine Ridge, SD. She has been a human rights and social justice activist for over a decade and before that worked as a field biologist/marine scientist and environmental planner. She currently resides in the mountains of North Carolina, USA.
